THE ACCOMMODATION : The apartment is on the second floor (American third) and comprises :

Open plan living/dining room, Kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave and cooker, etc.
A computer with permanent Internet (ADSL - broadband) connection, to keep in touch with family and friends, (or work if you have to!), or listen to your favourite radio station from back home.

A small selection of local produce from the market

One, twin bedded room, shower room (with shower, wc and washbasin) & there is a small balcony for dining out in the cool of the evening. The flat is bright and airy with comfortable furniture throughout.

THE AREA :
The apartment is situated close by the Cathedral of St Nazaire and only a few minutes walk from the centre of the town. Here you will discover a huge variety of shopping facilities including: “Les Halles” a covered market with a wide range of stalls offering local and more exotic produce, (there is a particularly fine selection of locally caught fresh fish), and a wide range of street markets on various days offering flowers, fruit, and all sorts of clothing, homemade produce etc. There are restaurants (see link below), cafés/bars and all the hustle and bustle of a typical French town, all within easy walking distances from the apartment. From here you can explore the Languedoc region of Southern France, visit the many Museums and Art Galleries, or just relax in a pavement cafe and watch the 'world go by', the choice is yours, the flavour, uniquely French!
 
The local transport system is excellent and you could take advantage of the cheap flights to have a break without your car! Direct flights are now available to Béziers / Cap d'Agde airport! (see link below). Buses to the beaches are frequent and the train service is also good. Hire a car for a couple of days, or, if you wish, I could take you out to explore the local countryside, and have a nice lunch in one of the many excellent village restaurants in the region.
There is even a free mini-bus “Navette” that serves the town centre (Bus station, Railway station, Theatre, Post Office etc...) every ten minutes or less.
